The only 5 star review was clearly written by the owner. Ive wrote dozens of reviews and never once have I wished the other guests enjoy the pleasant environment the way I did. Anyone with half a brain can read the reviews and look at the pictures to see the reality. Shame on you for trying to deceive people.

Office Operations hours: 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Subject to change to 9 p.m. based on staff or safety reasons. Housekeeping: Provides Linen Exchange for stay over guests and long-term residents between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Linen Exchange: Place linen outside, neatly, and as close to your room as possible. If there are any issues within your room, please inform the front desk between office hours. Maintenance: Please inform front desk I have traveled to and from South Carolina and Pennsylvania for the past 7 years. I always come to this place because I have created a good rapport with the motel owner. I even worked here once. The location is very, very well used to say things politely. While there are workers here who are trying to get the place back to it's former days, some issues are almost beyond repair. Many rooms have issues with plumbing and electricity. When I was employed here, I gave my best effort to nullify the issues that I came across. I did enjoy my employment here as I became acquainted with many of the residents. On the topic of residents, this motel is not truly for those on vacation or are traveling. The ongoing issues that are being addressed, usually cause a lot of stress for an affluent, entitled person. Many times, affluent guests had to receive a refund on their room. This place is not truly for them at this time. In full complete honesty, this place is for truck drivers, people with jobs that require them to travel, and the county's population. The rent is very low, probably the cheapest in the area. This is because of the issues and the owner is aware and gives his best attempt to compensate. The rent is 45 for single and 55 for a double. While weekly rates are sometimes accepted, you MUST be prepared to handle the issues that this location has. It is a REQUIREMENT that you are patient with the staffing here. Most of them are simply hardworking Americans who are also struggling during this pandemic. The location is Covid safe. If a resident contracts Covid, they are usually confined to their room. The stairwells and doors are normally disinfected with bleach and Fabuloso weekly. This area is also unfortunately located off the highway and the entire area, other hotels and motels included, is located in an addict den. This location is moderately safe, as the addicts try very hard to keep to themselves and stay out of trouble. There are usually people outside in the walkway area. THEY ARE NOT A THREAT, they are just normal people who are struggling. I am from the inner city streets of Philadelphia. I can honestly report that no-one should feel threatened by the guests and residents that hang out outside. Majority of the residents here are employed full-time and just want to see the light of day, and don't want to sit in their room all the time. In closing, I want to restate that this is not a location for the affluent. This is also not a generally positive place for children although there are families here who are and should feel safe. There are addicts all up and down this area (locally called Hwy 52,) again, they are not a threat and keep to themselves. I do not wish for someone to read this review and feel this is a completely negative place. It is predominantly for the local community who are down on their luck, and are struggling to financially survive the pandemic. One very big issue that I purposely did not touch on is harassment. There are a few residents/workers who feel extremely entitled and important. If they confront you in any way or fashion, it is best to de-escalate the conflict by walking away, if they are disrespectful or offensive, please contact the front desk between the hours of 9 A.M and 3 P.M. and contact the owner. The entitled residents are not worth the conflict as they are not going to be removed from the property. It is best resolved by walking away and choosing not to escalate and cause violence.
