MassageLuXe Fort Mill

My bestfriend and I received a prenatal massage today for our bestie babymoon and both had a very underwhelming experience. Ill speak for myself though and allow her to share her own experience. The massage therapist I had was nice, however, I was only positioned on one side for the entire duration of my 60 min prenatal massage. Only one leg, one arm, one hand, and one side of my back was massaged. I was asked what areas of concern I had prior to getting started and expressed my neck and my neck was not touched, she also asked for permission to do my scalp, which I consented to but then didnt do it. As a result, I am now experiencing stiffness and soreness post massage after laying on one side of the my body for that long. I lost feeling in that arm and hand and am also experiencing shoulder pain on that side as well. At this point I feel like I need to book another massage (elsewhere of course) to relieve the new tension I am experiencing now as a result of this massage which sucks because we were both very much looking forward to this experience. Im sad, Im not hurt or anything serious, but a massage (especially while pregnant) is suppose to relive stress and tension and leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I am definitely not feeling any of those feelings right now.

Facial was relaxing and soothing, but only a few extractions were done when explicitly asked prior to and during for a complete extraction.

This place looks small on the front but well organized and very nice inside. I had a massage with Jessica and she was great. She checked in on the pressure and the areas I wanted to work on and I had a wonderful massage. I will definitely be coming back again.

Valerie is amazing ! Just had a little one, so a lot of built up stress in my neck and shoulders, that is now completely gone. Cannot wait for my next session
