Hidden Marina & Campground

Cabins were not worth the money, I stayed several nights, but cut trip short due to cabin conditions. HVAC system did work, bathroom sink clogged and wouldnt drain, smlke detector missing just wire sticking out of wall. Only two burner stove top and one of tbem didnt work. Refrigerator was was all rusted up. I call office to report issues but no come to fix any of the problems.

The only thing keeping this place from a 5 is no picnic table and no fire ring. The bath house was a negative in that it is dated; however, we were told new bath houses were in the works. Typically, there is a confirmation email, but not here. So that out us worrying if our reservations were secure. Staff members are pleasant and accommodating. It was cold weather so we didnt fish & too early in the season for the pool, so we cannot critique that. Most people there appear to be permanent set ups. Thus buddying is hit or miss whether or not you can camp beside each other. Picnic area: None.

Kristy and her family who manage the campground are the most caring, lovely folks! This campsite has wonderful facilities. I stayed in one of the cabins and they were very well-equipped for a small family or group to enjoy the lovely waterfront views and all that the lowcountry has to offer. Thank you to Kristy and her family for being wonderful hosts - your generosity is so appreciated when I was in a tough spot during the big storm!
