Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

The only place left in the Tri County area that still closes their lobby randomly due to "staff shortages". And when I say "randomly" it's over 50% of the time we attempt to eat there. I'm not buying it one iota.

If you go to the Goose Creek location make sure to order the Chunky Ice Cream Soup, because they aren't serving Blizzards!! All the ice cream served was melted like it had been sitting out for a while, they didn't dare flip them over. The quality of the staff was almost as good as the quality of the ice cream. The place was not busy, the person at the register had me repeat my two item order about 3 times. The staff in the back acted like no one has ever added anything extra to a blizzard, I asked for brownie pieces to be added to my blizzard, but it tasted like Windex was added. Then the person handing items to customers didn't talk to customers that were standing right in front of her. She asked the clueless register person, who was making every order #0, who belonged to what order, instead of asking me or my husband standing right in front of her and no other customers around. I asked her what the order was to see if it was mine, instead of verbally telling me, she showed me the receipt. I understand staffing issues are everywhere, but having a staff that is under trained is worse than no staff. I will not return to this Dairy Queen and I suggest you drive a few more miles to another location.
