For kids, the school focuses on self-defense using the Aikido method. It teaches them practical self-defense to protect themselves from bullies, kidnappers, and school shootings. Mr. Beckham teaches values, discipline, and physical fitness, rather than competition. He takes his job seriously and can be very strict. He convinces them that whatever they do, they must do it to the best of their ability. Anything less is "tearing up ten dollar bills", wasting the opportunity to improve themselves. After three months, it's already made changes in my son's attitude that carries on to other parts of his life, such as school. It's helping him focus better. In addition, he is strengthening himself physically and mentally, spending less time on games and more time on things that matter.

Beckham Martial Arts & Fitness has been absolutely wonderful for both my boys. The values, discipline, confidence and of course self defense methods that are taught here have been a great help in my children's development. We look forward to the continued growth and development for years to come from such a wonderful person. I recommend if you are looking for the positive guidance and all above mentioned or more for your children check Beckham's out, you will not be disappointed. One of the best decisions I could have made for my kids.

My son is practicing for his 3rd year with Mr. Beckham. This is a very serious school of Martial Arts where children (and adults) are taught discipline, practice, and gain confidence. Its not a childs play gym. We have a lot of respect for the school and Mr Beckham and are very appreciative of this practice.

My grandson started Martial Arts with Beckham in July of 2021, since starting these classes, he has become stronger mentally and physically. Joe Beckham is an excellent trainer who cares about each student. He takes pride in training each students to achieve their personal goals as well as ensuring they are fully capable of defending themselves if every necessary.
