I tried Image East Video recently for a home video that I wanted to convert from VHS to DVD and a digital file. Before hearing about Image East, I considered using a mail-off service, but I was nervous about losing family videos in the mail so I never did it. Im so glad I found a local service that can convert these files and I dont have to worry about them getting lost forever. They have reasonable prices for what you are getting and for small orders, fair turnaround times as well. I will be taking more of our home videos to them soon!

In the early 1950s dad, a U.S. Air Force airman, got a Kodak film camera and made films of the family as we traveled the world from that time through the 1970s. Derek at Image East was able to take these ancient films and produce super high quality images of our past. Another company has tried to do the same many years ago, but the quality of the Image East production is far greater--its like night and day by comparison. The care taken to get these old images to put me back into the 1950s was intense, the results miraculous. Derek has been wonderful to work with and is so passionate about what he does! I live in Simpsonville and he kindly saved me the drive to Greer by meeting me to hand over my 8mm tapes to be converted. He's easy to get in contact with and even completed my order ahead of schedule which was a pleasant surprise. I was impressed with the well organized, finished product and quality of his work as well both on my external drive and on the DVDs. I'm really looking forward to sharing these with my family over Thanksgiving and Christmas. I appreciated the thoughtful courtesy call the day after pickup to ensure all was well, too. Derek was amazing. He helped me digitize some audio off of an old cassette tape. Trying to preserve the voice of my father in law that passed this year. What a great Christmas present. Very professional and timely. Highly recommend.
