        If you base your plans on reading reviews, then this is a great spot for a family vacation. The staff, amazing, the pool staff, attentive, the restaurant staff, a team that works with passion, the concierge, happy destinations only. We even saw a beautiful Bride. I had a great time, and I will be back with the familygreat job to everyone at Sonesta! Safety: Gated community was a plus!

        I didnt personally stay here but we were within the Shipyard resort and could use the pool, hot tub and other amenities. The beach access is so close. The hot tub and adult pool are so warm and has a lot of beach chairs to sit in. The pool for the kids has a walk up bar and many many more beach chairs. Theres a whole patio behind the hotel with huge comfy chairs and seating. Its a pretty awesome place; just being in the areas we could use made me want to stay there and get a room!
