I used Design Flooring for a partial house remodel at the recommendation of a family friend. I could not have been more disappointed with the outcome. They did ok with the LVT floors that were put down and with the ceramic tile around my shower; however, I was extremely unhappy with everything else they did. A one month job turned into three long months and the work that was done was not done in a professional manner.

My flooring had been done back in the beginning of October. Since then I had some people visit my home and completely trash it. Eggs, popsicles, wax, and many more sticky substances were stuck on my new laminate flooring for a few days before we could clean up. THE FLOORS ARE STILL LIKE NEW! No damage at all. 10/10 would recommend! The best quality and serve ever received!

One star is being gracious. If I could, it is more like negative 1,000,000,000,000 stars. After researching Design Flooring thru the state BBB, our local BBB, reading reviews on other sites (Angi, the BBB sites, Google, and Yahoo), and talking to a friend that is a general contractor in the construction business, I decided to go with Design Flooring. I visited the showroom to see what was available in flooring for our master bath. The 1st thing I was met with when I walked in the door, after introducing myself, was "Do you believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?" My reply was "yes, of course." I figured at that point I made a good decision as this was a company of good Christian people. So, I told them what I was looking for and was told "we do the whole remodel not just the floor". Wow, I thought. This is awesome. I picked out the flooring, which was being sold to me at last year's price as what was on the roll was all they had. Great, I'd save some money. On April 21st I received the quote for everything on my email. My husband and I discussed it and paid the 50% required down plus a little extra on April 22nd. Warren then said to go to Lowe's and pick out my vanity, commode and shower and let them know when delivery would be. May 5th was ETA; well. A few days later, our bath was demolished and new floor laid. Okay, that's good. Well, Retail Direct, the delivery service used by Lowe's, did not deliver. 2 days later the handyman, Joey from Design Flooring, went to Lowe's to pickup order from store. Good, I will have a new bathroom soon. WRONG! Everything delivered, Warren brought shower himself and left in box on front porch. After about a week of NOTHING major being done, my husband asked that commode be installed so that we would not have to walk the length of the house to use the other one. That was installed. Within a few hours we saw water on our bathroom floor. Yep, LEAK! Pipe used had hole. My husband repaired it as this was 7 p.m. I had called Warren when leak happened and it took Joey almost 2 hours to show up after I notified them that hubby had fixed it and Joey was no longer needed. Well, next day Warren comes to fix commode. He did put shut off valve on commode. Work commenced. Plumbing had to be redone as the vanity would not accommodate what was there. We asked that the plumbing go down under the house instead of running the length of the house and tie in to existing pipes. That brought up a lot of grumbling as I don't think Warren wanted to redo the piping. Well, hubby told him to do it as we wanted it. Finally, I thought. That took almost a week itself. The last day on that part of the job, Warren said "there is a small leak, but it only drips a drop a minute". Needless to say, at 10 p.m. my husband is under the house repairing it. Dried up pipe glue was used after Joey was told, by my husband not to use it, it was used. Leak stopped. Again, I think, finally!!!! Nope, I was wrong. It is now June 3rd, bathroom is allegedly done, but NOPE! Water pressure is worse thank before. Shower was not installed correctly. Hot water comes out of cold side and cold water out of hot side. Joey installed correctly and Warren said it was incorrect and changed it. Nothing bracing the side wall as it is flexible and not supported. Yes, we can use it, but if it was inspected it would not pass. I am still trying to figure out how any job can be done when crews don't show up until afternoon and leave at 5. How can a man who is, according to state licensing board only authorized to perform work in floor covering, drywall install/repair and carpentry claim to be a plumber? I guess our next step is filing complaint with licensing board and BBB and putting reviews like this out this so nobody else gets scammed. Total job estimate is $4,551.68 Not paying balance until we are 100% satisfied, but hubby says what has been paid is all that is being paid. We will see what happens there.
