        Dr. Michaelis and the team at Charleston Wound Care took incredible care of my grandmother during her recent trip to Charleston. A 92 year old with ongoing wounds related to skin cancer, one of our biggest fears giving Grandma a much-deserved vacation was finding a clinical team that could continue her treatments away from home. Dr. Michaelis didn't just continue her care, he took a new, comprehensive approach to her wound care and Grandma improved! Beyond the incredible care, Dr. Michaelis and his team are warm, kind, thoughtful and caring - each week they would welcome us by name, make genuine connections with my grandmother and without knowing it, provide our family with peace of mind we have not had in years! I cannot recommend Dr. Michaelis and his team enough.

        I took my neighbor here today and was so impressed with the care and attention she received. I have been a nurse for many years, and I find this medical practice to be "old timey" concerning bedside manner but very updated on medical practices. I would give this practice more than 5 stars if I could. This practice should be the gold standard for all. Thank you for being so compassionate.

        From the front office to the back, to the nursing staff, everything is PERFECT. Such friendly and fun going people! Im usually nervous when I go to the doctors of any sort, but they made my visit so comfortable I forgot the reason I was there! Cant wait to see the staff again for my follow up!
