On April 1st, my wife and I checked into the Country Inn and Suites in Myrtle Beach, SC on Waccamaw Blvd. Once arriving at the hotel there were individuals on bikes blocking the hotel check-in/check-out carport. There were over 10 to 12 bikes parked in the carport area with individuals just standing around drinking, smoking and playing music. They also had a small grill in the middle of parking lot cooking on it. This was not an inviting display of how our stay would start off. We checked into the hotel dropped our luggage and left to go eat and shop. Upon returning to the hotel that evening the individuals were still outside with the music blasting at 10 pm at night. The front desk clerk was also outside with these individuals. I called the front desk to ask that music be turned down. The lady at the front desk hung up on me. They eventually turned the music down and then turned it back up a few minutes later. Along with the music playing they then got on their bikes and reved the engines over and over for about 5 to 7 minutes. This was very disrespectful and inconsiderate of the other guest staying at the hotel. The hotel front desk person did not say anything to these individuals or correct this behavior. We didnt call law enforcement because we didnt want anyone to get on any trouble but after this situation was very unacceptable.The management doesnt not care about their guest and showed very poor hospitality. I have attached two pictures of the of the situation. I also have a video that I can provide to show the volume of the music and crowd of people hanging around outside. This situation has really turned us off from staying at any Country inn and suites hotel. Especially this location.
