The up most Experience I ever experienced in my life. I mean I'm a first time home buyer. Oakwood Homes was the first place I went,.i could of shopped around but when I went to oakwood the staff there, MR.Matt was one of the first person I met. I Immediately new right then that I wasn't going anywhere else that I wanted to just deal with Oakwood homes/ Mr.Matt. The whole time of the process was stress free. I basically just did and provided what Mr. Matt said he needed me to do on my end and he handled the rest and now I'm a HOMEOWNER!!!!! THANKS THANKS THANKS BECOME A HOMEOWNER GO TO OAKWOOD HOMES ON RIVERS AVE ASK FOR MATT.

Let me start positive. If you have free and clear land, are able to move forward with no hang ups it really seems like they can make the process super quick. This is how I feel about my overall experience, there is a lot here that's out of the control of the sales team. I feel like I was misled in the beginning by the sales team. Bait and switch. We were told we could definitely get one mobile home, that they could definitely get it in our buget. Then later in the process told there were only one of two we could get. Yes, we proceeded but at that point this wasn't a want for us, this was a necessity. The moving company dropped our mobile home, then the movers literally lied about dropping it. "No, we didn't drop it." Our neighbor saw them do it. The appliances were broken because of this drop, something I'm still trying to deal with. There are things that were messed up on inside our home and excess trim and wall pieces were left behind. Lots of it. Still sitting here actually. Which I guess is fine since the trim was never properly nailed to the wall. One of my kids will walk by and simply snag a piece of trim bumping into the wall. The vinyl floor was chopped and has gashes in it, we've been waiting over a year to have it and the rest of the numerous problems fixed. Unfortunately that won't be happening, we spoke with some yesterday at corporate and since the paperwork says the work was completed (it was not) we have to file something with an extended warranty we bought. Instead of doing the right thing and fixing the issues, which our salesperson knows were issues and could tell attest to, along with a slew of others the buck is being passed and we are being made to wait longer and jump through more hoops and because Oakwood is not willing to do the right thing. This should have been an exciting experience for me. The sales person could have been more realistic in the beginning, but he couldn't have known any of this would ensue. The turning point was when the movers lied about about dropping the mobile home. It was all downhill from there, and while that could be a separate review of it's own it is very much related to the overall buying experience that I personally had with Oakwood. Which is what this review is about. I can not stress enough to potential buyers. Ask questions, if you don't understand make them break it down. Absolutely do not move in if things aren't 100% clear. Demand everything in writing, even after the fact when they have to complete work. Especially do NOT sign anything about the work until it's 100% finished. ( This is different than signing the mortgage paperwork). It might help them. Instead of being concerned with another bad review Oakwood should be concerned with fixing WHY it's bad and how to make it better. They're counterparts at one of their sister lots sure did that ten years ago and made a bad experience good.

Good morning Brooke. Our records show that all the issues that were reported to us were completed and signed off on. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations. We see you purchased the extended warranty. In the future you can reach out to them at 1-800-804-9389.
