The staff is always friendly and helpful. We board our dogs there and also use them for toe nail trims and baths. We highly recommend Camp Green Dog for your pets needs.

My fearful dog bit my neighbor. And since then, I've been afraid to leave my dog with anyone. But, life does go on and I need to go out of town for a few days. So began my search for a place to board my dog. It's harder than it sounds if your dog has a bite history. One place didn't care if he had bitten someone or not (yikes!) and told me just to bring him on down. Another just kept the dogs in cages for their entire stay. And then one of my friends with a "normal" dog told me to call Camp Green Dog. The owner actually did two different temperament tests with him. I like that because nobody wants to get or be hurt. After my dog's second test, the owner came up to me and said, "I'm sorry.... there is nothing wrong with your dog." Huh?!? My fearful dog has been at the daycare four times since then. And he likes it!! This morning he ran to the door when I asked him if he wanted to go to doggie day care. I have no idea what they are doing to my dog, and he won't say anything, BUT my dog is he is so much more relaxed and confident when we do our daily walk and other people are around (he used to run off the trail when someone would walk by.) I can't thank everyone enough at Camp Green Dog for taking time with my dog and helping to increase his confidence!
