    I loved being at Pointe Grand because the aprtment was nice and the neighbors were kind...but the management staff is just like any other "landlord"! The regional manager, Monica offered for me to forego the remaining month of my lease since my job moved me to the other side of town and I had already moved out. SHE OFFERED IT TO ME and stated "we are gonna back date your notice"! I had planned to just pay out my lease as any good tenant would but decided this may be a blessing. She did give me a written document but I misplaced it when I moved. Then, when the time came to stand up and admit it, I assume, (because her superiors refused to tell me) she offered it to me, she denied it (probably to save her job) and her superiors refused to stand by it! I was an "EXCELLENT" tenant...never late and left my apartment immaculate. Make sure if anyone offers you anything, you get it in writing and store it in a safe place. Michelle is also a rude individual and has no customer service skills whatsoever, nor "time" to try and get to the bottom of it. I did not appreciate that she just assumed I was lying and did not try to resolve the issue by contacting Monica. She told me to handle it myself...what an ignorant individual. I am so tired of being treated like a second class citizen because I "choose" to rent. I am a landlord myself as I own my own rental property but the difference is that my renters stay because I treat them with respect and want to make sure they are well taken care of.
