        Very courteous and the atmosphere was clean . It's easy to locate and plenty of parking.spaces.w/ handicap parking In front of bank .

        This has been my go to bank for several years, they have always went above and beyond. Eric was beyond kind, attentive, accommodating, and diligent. He is amazing and I really appreciate his kindness and his inviting character and professionalism!

        Worst Customer Service. I have been with them for over 10 years. 2 times in the last month I have made a credit card payment (credit card acquired through their bank) and the payment was never taken out of my checking acct.. I contacted them they referred me to the credit card company. The credit card company stated that the money was taken in error from another South State Bank customer which they knew because of the routing number. I called the bank back and explained the situation. They did not want to help figure out why this was happening. I had not changed anything since setting up these accounts 10 years ago. I can't believe that given another customers account was compromised that they would not want to be proactive to help resolve this. If my account was, I would hope that they would be looking into it. I guess it was too much to ask. I changed banks first thing the next business day.
