image I recently contacted Wilson Gutters to get an estimate to replace the gutters on my ranch style Simpsonville home. The customer service was terrific and the price was great as well. I really liked their gutter guard screens better than the competitors. The installation crew was efficient and personable. Job was done in one day with no mess and looked amazing. Thank you Wilson Gutters. Awesome job.

image The team was very polite and even though the job was just replacing gutters on back of house and screens I felt they did a great job and really worked with me so I could be home. Great customer service would hire them again.

image Everyone was very respectful. There was a issue and the team and Mr Wilson took care of the problem right away. My job was replacing just the gutters on the back but no one made me feel like it was not an important job. Will call them to do the front when ready.

image Gutter Wilson did a great job start to finish. They were great in walking me through every detail of the service that we needed. They were on time and completed the job as scheduled. Their attention to detail was most impressive. We needed multiple colors of gutters and downspouts and they were able to provide what we were looking for. I highly recommend using them for all your gutter needs.

image I have many thoughts about Wilson Gutters, about Derrick Wilson, and the Wilson crew. Bear with me. After putting in underground PVC for my home's downspouts I started collecting data on gutter contractors. I'm the second owner of an older home that had a mish-mash of old aluminum, galvanized, and plastic (!) gutters in very poor shape. I contacted seven (7) local companies, of which six returned my calls and visited my home. I build software for a large commercial contractor which includes, among other things, a tool for evaluating subcontractor performance. I geek out on construction, so that's where my head is at. Even so, I could not have predicted how wild the world of residential gutter contractors can be. There were huge swings in pricing, quality, products, and approach among the companies I interviewed. Some were OK, some good. But I can tell you who to absolutely avoid: Those with long, drawn-out, high-touch sales tactics who attempt to exhaust you into committing to a proprietary, patented gutter product at an eye-watering price. It's a specific sales tactic, where forcing you to spend an inordinate amount of your time on their pitch is supposed to make you feel invested, and wear down resistance. Two of the seven were like this. They refuse to share paper estimates, push iPads at you, want a closed deal or they won't leave. I had to ask their (technically ignorant, pushy) salesmen to leave my house. It was awkward. For them. Especially if you are elderly, beware of these guys. In the middle of the pack I think there are some solid outfits, but I wanted something better for my house. I was looking hard at the leaf filtering systems, and I specifically wanted galvalume gutters (if I could afford it), since they will easily outlast me and would match my new galvalume roof. Only two "finalist" companies offered the galvalume, Wilson and one other, who visited my home in that order. I'm confident the other company could have done the job, but their pricing came in thousands higher. When I asked why they were so high, their rep immediately made a phone call and dropped the price to within $100 of Wilson's price. That rubbed me the wrong way. Otherwise I think they were a capable company, but Wilson just sent all the right signals. Derrick Wilson (Operations Manager) visited my home to give an estimate, and he was clearly working out the technical details of how the installation should be implemented. He asked all the right questions, and made some system design recommendations for problem areas that the other companies never even brought up. Wilson is a 100% local company, fully invested in the greater Greenville community, and isn't trying to replace know-how with pushy salesmen. Their gutter products and leaf screens are not proprietary lock-you-in systems that nobody else will fix or give you parts for. Their leaf screen stood out to me though. Unlike some extruded aluminum "cap" type guards that obscure visibility into the gutters, Wilson's product had the right mix of strength, design, and material (expanded aluminum, stainless screen), and maintainability in my opinion. Their pricing on aluminum and galvalume was very competitive, and I was able to afford the galvalume I really wanted. Wilson's installation crew was great. Some had obviously been with the company a very long time, and you got the impression they genuinely enjoyed working together and took pride in their work. Galvalume is heavier, and takes some extra work to install, and they did a great job. Wilson's lead foreman did some extra details that were not in the plan but helped "soften" the flow of water in key areas where a drop to the roof below was necessary. These guys really think about their work. All in all, I'm thrilled with how they did this job and how they followed up. I've waited for BIG rains before reviewing Wilson, and the system has performed flawlessly. I'm really happy with their work and can't recommend them enough.
