Kiddie Academy of Five Forks

Our Child attended from Aug 2023-Dec 2023 at this location. Kiddie Academy (KA) lacks compassion, patience and understanding for strong willed children. Our toddler with typical unwanted/difficult toddler behavior was dismissed from their daycare due to his behavior which was a result of their unwillingness to help, lack of compassion, lack of leadership in the classrooms, and lack of understanding of how to manage/care for toddlers. KA initially threatened dismissal early on due to our toddler not being potty trained before his 3rd birthday. He was forced into an older classroom to try to help with his behavior problems. This caused regression and trauma with our childs potty training journey, as they refused to help due to the class not being set up for potty training. This was the worst experience for my entire family and especially my child. They often made us feel like inadequate parents with their subtle judgmental tones, demeanor, and gaslighting conversations. It was clear that our toddler was experiencing emotional turmoil at KA as evidenced by his constant behavior issues. I am still saddened, to this day, that I ever moved my child to KA. I will never forget how terrible they made me and my family feel.

My family has been fortunate enough to entrust both of our children to the care of this wonderful academy, witnessing firsthand the incredible growth and development they have experienced under Erin's guidance. The daycare is ok, but the owner Erin has a terrible attitude problem, very short temper. Some of the teachers and Erin get offended when you question them about certain things regarding your child, as if you should just KNOW they know how to handle the issue or concern, ummm my child is in YOUR care when im not around, I should be able to question you with concerns all I want, and you should be understanding of that! Also Erin loves to make excuses for her teachers if they make a mistake or do something wrong by saying stuff like well they have to deal with a lot of kids in the class, and?? They get paid to do a job and be professional, so thats whats expected!!

I love how much my children are learning each day. Its amazing to hear them spouting new knowledge and knowing they are really loved each day!
