EXPENSIVE! $ 386.71 for 30 MINUTES OF SERVICE.... We bought our gas pack unit from this company and had to have our first service call. The technician came out quickly, seemed knowledgeable and efficient; definitely a star in their favor. And he diagnosed the problem but had to order the part. That's okay - no detraction for the wait period although we were COLD. We were quoted 386.00 for having the work done and told them to proceed with ordering the part/service. The part was covered under warranty. I was dumbfounded when they removed the fan cage and replaced it all within 30 minutes. You might think that was good, but 327.00 for a half hour in labor charges???? (59.00 of 386 was the trip charge) A practicing physician doesn't make that much money per hour. I had called another service company after the initial call because it seemed like so much money. My brother and a realtor friend uses them to do work for their house flips. His price for the work (since we knew what was wrong) was much better. But this was someone we hadn't bought the unit from, and we had already committed, so we felt inclined to stay with the company that came out despite the price. If I had any idea that I was going to pay that much for only a half hour of work I would have cancelled! I thought for that much money it had to be an extensive job. Yes - I'm paying money for expertise, but 327.00? Yes, I'm paying for reputation and quality and all of that. BUT 327.00 labor for a half hour?? If anyone else thinks that is reasonable, by all means use this company. They got the job done. Just EXPENSIVE.

Cant say enough great things about Ken and the install team at Air Kool. After waking up to no heat on our first floor Ken was out the same day to assess the issues. He ultimately determine that the units needed to be replaced and scheduled the install team to be out the following business day. Install team was very professional and had the new units running later that afternoon. Will definitely be using their services in the future.
