The Slice

Came in for lunch today and I already want to go back. My husband and I shared a cheese pie and it was absolutely amazing. The crust was a perfect mix of crispy and fluffy. The sauce is on the sweeter side but had a great flavor. Our server, Susana, was outstanding. She was so happy and welcoming. We had some left overs and our son devoured them for dinner. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

We had lunch at The Slice, having previously driven by on a Staurday evening to find a multitude in the place. Well, we came back on a Thursday, and what a pleasant experience awaited us! MY wife and I share a 6" Tutto pizza - ground sausage, pepperoni, red peppers, black olives, onions, and mushrooms. It was fresh and the onions provided the needed texture and crunch. My wife wanted to try their pasta so she also ordered a child's portion spaghetti with a meatball. The past was NOT store bought but made in house and you can tell the difference! The sauce was piquant, light, with a touch of sweetness. And the crust was think with some burnt edges, which we happen to crave. We will order pizza purposely well done to get that kind of taste! Our wait person was Susana - very effusive, charming, attentive, and gracious. We could tell it wasn't just a job for her. Make The Slice a priority and get over there and have a slice of fun and good taste!

Could not take an order correctly over the phone and I had to repeat myself 3xs and still got it wrong! Went into pizzeria to pickup my order and when I arrived home with hungry family to eat, the order was WRONG. Sooooo frustrating, and this was my first time here. The service here is terrible over the phone and also in person! The young female cashier had the gall to tell me I should had caught it when I picked it up, WOW! This was my first and last time and Im from Brooklyn and this pizza does not taste like the good pizza up in north in NY! I immediately called to complain and the owner Dave told me he would make it right and make me new a new order that I would then have to pick up. Yeah while hungry, I get to wait 30 more minutes for food to be ready, then drive back 25 minutes to pizzeria and then back home 25 minutes for him to make it right! Make it right, refund!! People make mistakes but his staff made excuses and didnt tell him how they talked to me on the phone and talked down to me just before putting him on the phone. I told him what they said and he didnt seem to care. I told him I called so he could understand and fix it, improve for the better of his business but it went on deaf ears. Sorry Dave, your gonna lose more business than just me as a customer with that kind of service! Lost customer here and many more to come. Its not rocket science, its simple pizzeria food and service but Dave took one for his team, I get it. Too many of this and youll take it all for the poor service and quality issues of your business. Where is my Pepperoni and why missing sections of cheese? Saturday 5pm and not very busy, extra staff just standing around chatting??? I noticed this too. Not impressed one bit, disappointed!

They make the best Pizza hands down in the greenville area. I have yet to find a place that proves me wrong. Keep up the awesome Pizza's Slice!!!
