Legacy Reserve at Fairview Park

I had an interview here last week. But 30 minutes before my interview, I got a call from them saying the position had been filled that morning. I just thought that was very unprofessional. All candidates should be at least considered. I never even got a chance to present myself.

Ive been employed at Legacy for almost a year and have loved every minute of it. My residents arent just residents to me, they are my family. As well as the amazing people I work with. Working in healthcare takes a strong heart and tons of patience, but I wouldnt trade it for the world. Ive worked in a few facilities before residing at Legacy and the management team is by far the best people i have ever had the pleasure of working for. They make sure we, as care staff, are taken care of as well as having such beautiful relationships with the residents! If I could rate 10 stars, I would without hesitation!

My mom was at Legacy (assisted) for less than two weeks. I wrote this to the Executive Director: "Hi Shelly, Mike here, Martinas son. I just wanted to thank you and your staff for treating mom and me with such kindness and respect. She passed two weeks ago today and it feels both so recent and so distant. Im still processing it all. On the day mom passed I placed her pink flower spinner in the garden area I wished mom could have enjoyed. I was excited for her to meet the woman in the corner room who planted the beautiful garden out in the yard. Too bad that couldnt happen as mom was a Master Gardener as well as a Master Naturalist. I think they would have gotten along very well. I was looking forward to years of memories at Legacy. I do take away many good memories in the short time we were there. Please pass along my thanks especially to Shelly L. and Phyllis. They both have hearts of gold. I may stop by sometime just for myself and smile at the residents I wish mom could have known. Ive been quite happy at Legacy Reserve after recover from a stroke. The activities keep me busy and the meals are great!
