Tried for many weeks to get a tree removed. They were responsive in quoting but not in following through with the work. Continued to blame the weather but wouldn't come to check the condition of our location
Felt as if our business was NOT important to them at all. No communication unless we initiate the conversation.

Happened to see a neighbor using Ellason Tree Service so we decided to ask if they could help us grind some branches and then move some dirt for us. We were pleased when they said they could take care of the branches that day and the dirt in the next two days. They did manage to get the branches chipped the day of our discussion but managed to leave the road and driveway a huge mess. The dirt was an even bigger issue. Despite saying that they could do it within two days, it took them 20 to get it done. I attempted to contact them 11 times to see when they were planning on completing what they had said they could do. Often I would get a response the next day. Sometimes they would blame the weather (two separate occasions). Frankly it felt like they could've cared less about our business. When having our initial conversation, they quoted the work at $150 for the branch removal and $175 for the dirt moving only to have them come back weeks later tell us it was now $200. On top of all of this, the dirt moving they did destroyed our yard (which we knew could be a possibility with skids being used) but they destroyed part of our children's playset area and our french drain which had cost us several thousands to install to begin with. Needless to say, I would never suggest working with Ellason Tree Services. If they knew the dirt moving was out of their general scope of work, I would've preferred they just tell us that up front but now we have more work than we had before they did anything for us.

I was on the side of the road with a flat tire in the hot hot heat waiting on a family member to come help for over 45 minutes. Not a single person stopped to help or ask. Rick pulled around asked me if he could help took my tire off for me and stood with me talking for a little bit so I would feel safe. He was so kind and so considerate! I can only imagine he is just as great within his business. After leaving he even checked on me to make sure I got everything taken care of. He is a blessing!!
