        Im from Watertown, and the hospital here is locally known as the place to go to be put in a casket. And thats putting it very nicely. My partner and I decided to make the drive to Brookings because anytime we go to Praire Lakes, my partner gets told best of luck. The Brookings health system puts Praire Lakes to shame. The service and care we received was outstanding and made the 40 minute drive worth it.

        Not a great place to go for the emergency room. We brought our daughter in to get some test ran as she wasnt feeling good and is not normally fussy but when we got the doctor to look at her all he did was check her breathing and said well you guys are first time parents so your worrying more. No test were ran to even check to make sure she would be okay or anything he just said if it gets worse then come back. When I got in I would expect that somebody would do their job and run the tests as its not very helpful to have someone say well you first time parents. Just run the tests if we are in the emergency room its your job.
