        I was suffering from anorexia nervous and was hospitalized in the Lead/Deadwood hospital for 3 weeks. I was very impressed with Dr. Tronnes both professionally and she personally. He took the time to listen to me and prescribed the medication to start making progress.

She grew up in Denver, Colo. and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and earned her B.S. in Biology with Honors from Iowa State University before attending Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine to complete her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Dr. Ruffcorn has a special interest in women’s health, emergency medicine and pediatrics. She practices with the philosophy of treating all of her patients as if they are family.Dr. Ruffcorn and her husband, Jake, enjoy hiking and traveling together.
