Travelodge Inn & Suites by Wyndham Deadwood

Traveling from eastern Montana, we were tired and wanted to stop for the night. My husband found this hotel and it was one of the only ones in the area who allowed dogs. The hotel itself was really cool, the layout was odd but cool because it was built into the side of a hill. We were on the second floor but had to go up to floor 3 and take a walkway to the room. To go to the dog area we had to go up a flight of stairs and it lead to an area on the side of the hill. The room itself gave me major deja vu vibes but I can confidently say Ive never been to deadwood. It was a king size bed, the room itself was nice and large. They had a bigger fridge than many of the other hotels we stayed at. We were able to fit a 2 liter and a medium pizza in it.

The staff here was absolutely top notch. This is not a fancy hotel obviously, but such a great price, very clean and really the front desk attendants were so kind and courteous and helpful. Thank you Sage and Christian for being so great. The rooms were large and spacious. Dated and the beds were on the firmer side, but very clean and well maintained.

Great place if you have dogs. The room was clean service was good. Great dog area for potting. Room was good size for the dogs to move around.

After a long couple of days on the road was nice to feel relaxed enough to get real rest in a CLEAN & comfy room! From the moment I arrived Robert at the front desk was professional, informative, kind and accommodating. Elizabeth later as the cashier was also really nice and offered a little Steerfish history :) I will stay again when I come through!! Thanks guys! Rooms: Clean, immensities were perfect, pet immensities Nearby activities: Walkable and Trolleys that can get you everywhere too Safety: Felt very safe as a solo female traveler Food & drinks: Within walking distance to the restaurants Noteworthy details: Great Staff
