Mad Peak Rentals

We rented a UTV and took a trip to Custers Peak. Great service and equipment was in good repair. We had a blast!

We stayed in the Hideout for a week and rented a UTV with Mad Peak. Highly recommend! First, the owners and their staff are lovely! They all took great care to ensure we had a good experience and stay. The Hideout had everything we needed for the week. It had a modern feeling, was clean, and had plenty of amenities. We had never ridden a UTV off-road, and they made the experience fun. They have a test trail right next to the rental where you can get a feel for things before going off on your adventure. They helped us download a GPS map app for the locations, and you can quickly get the hang of it with the map to navigate around the area on your own. Our kids loved it. Mad Peak was a great location to act as a home base for our Black Hills adventures. We explored The Devil's Tower, Mt Rushmore, Wild Life Loop Road, Needles Highway, and various tourist traps along the highway to Mt Rushmore, Deadwood, and the Badlands. It was nice to have a place to return to every night without changing where we stayed constantly. The only bad thing is that the vacation eventually had to end.

We had a blast on a 4 seat SxS with our two pups! The map they provided paired with an app they had us download (free) was perfect for ANYONE to navigate!! Lookout Ridge in WY was a beautiful area! We saw elk and deer on our ride. We would highly recommend renting from Mad Peak, great staff!
