The Back 40 Taphouse Grill

Parents had gone the week before saying the food was good. Decided to go and try it out. As soon as you walked in, music was blaring. When the orders were taken you could barely hear the waitress. No where on the menu does it say sides are separate. When asked what we wanted, then asked what sides we wanted. My dad ordered the Philly from the late menu and it was way smaller then what he had the week before. My mom's burger didn't even fit the bun. When we got the bill, that's when we found out the sides were extra. Not very impressed. Doubt we will be going back anytime soon . Would not recommend going.

New to Mitchell and was invited to a little gig. Great band who rocked it hands down! Friendly people and the Beast Burger was fire ! Most definitely be going back!!

I would highly recommend this restaurant even if you're just traveling through It is worth the drive off of i-90. We sampled the hamburgers which had excellent flavor and interesting choices. The atmosphere was fun along with darts and a pool table. We had excellent service while we were there and a view of the corn palace to boot. Update 4/6/2024 I would say that the service over all has gone down since the first time we experienced eating at the Back 40 tap house grill. We have had really good food at times and then some hit and miss with the burgers. The burger was also missing some ingredients.
