Our experience with Allstor was fine...until move out day. What's good about Allstor? Well, it is easy to get to and located conveniently in NW Mitchell. The units are fairly new, appear well maintained, and not overly priced, given the scarcity of available units in Mitchell. The not so good? The rudeness and discourtesy shown us by the owner. My son lost our lock key and we had to cut the bolt. In the process, the locking mechanism on the door was destroyed and the trim damaged. I immediately called the owner (presumably the wife of a husband-wife team), explained what happened, and offered to make prompt payment for the damage. A few minutes later, the husband showed up and began cursing and swearing at me, despite the fact that I remained courteous, apologetic, and repeated my offer to pay for the damages (which, I might add, I did within 24 hours of being invoiced). I understand the owner was frustrated, but a businessman has a responsibility to his customers past, present, and future, to behave professionally, especially when said customer is offering to make things right. Sorry, you only have once chance to make a first impression and this one was blown on a series of 4-letter invectives. I would not recommed them...unless you just enjoy abuse.
