edit 2: I apologize for accusing you of deleting and hiding your reviews, but for you to assume the identity of a stranger and post personal information like that is awful. edit: thank you for hiding negative reviews, it's very manipulating and childish :) I can only count on one hand the amount of caregivers who genuinely care about your families. those who make up the majority are neglectful and don't take the time to make sure your family member's needs are met. they aren't aware enough to notice when a resident has a broken hip for a week and vitals done on resident's who fall aren't completed as they should. bloodstaines and other bodily fluids have been left on their bedsheets to not only stain their mattresses but the residents lay in it and it's covered up instead of properly cleaned. I've also found blood on the walls near their beds and bowel movement caked onto toilets, left there for days different residents use those same toilets. those who yell at residents are let go immediately but others who continuously neglect and verbally abuse, is rough with, and mocks residents are allowed to continue caring for your family members despite clear evidence they are doing this. having the administrator herself approach them in front of the residents families telling them to do their jobs should be enough but it isn't. getting your med aid license is easy as the nurse will sit with you during the test and give you the answers. bringing notes in with you I understand, but there should be no exchange between the nurse and yourself while taking the test. the administrator will guilt trip you for calling in no matter if you have an emergency or not. she's also very condescending. her husband only cares about skyline appearances and impressing families at face value. it's only about money and you're just a number. while the residents can be combative, it's in memory care and to be expected. if you have to go on worker's comp and leave for whatever injury you receive, however, that's a completely different story as management will treat you poorly and has fired people for "believing that staff member is using it as vacation." so many staff call out and there's scarce chance there is coverage. they all act like a family but when help is needed they won't, and you're expected to pick up their work without gratitude. the coworkers here are the biggest problem. cliques are made no matter what shift and you get the short end if the stick if you aren't part of them. most staff here are distrusting and there's endless drama and gossip even if you stay out of it, you will always hear judgements. save yourself stress and find better, the compensation is nowhere worth it and they mess up payroll all the time. what they promise you isn't what you'll be getting. these are all things that can be fixed, but countless complaints and concerns voiced to the administrator has thus far been ignored and nothing has been done to improve skyline's cares.

Thank you Crystal for the five star review! I’m the first person to say that we aren’t perfect. That being said, I don’t know of anyone who tries harder to be perfect than our team. Positive reviews give us reassurance that the effort is being noticed.Thank You!

Thank you so much for the 5 star review! We've learned so much speaking to your father. Lots of interesting topics he's very knowledgeable in. Our team works very hard to care for our residents and it's great to see it noticed. Thank you so much. We hope to continue meeting your expectations.

I can only count on one hand the amount of caregivers who genuinely care about your families. those who make up the majority are neglectful and don't take the time to make sure your family member's needs are met.
they aren't aware enough to notice when a resident has a broken hip for a week and vitals done on resident's who fall aren't completed as they should. bloodstaines and other bodily fluids have been left on their bedsheets to not only stain their mattresses but the residents lay in it and it's covered up instead of properly cleaned. so many staff call out and there's scarce chance there is coverage. they all act like a family but when help is needed they won't, and you're expected to pick up their work without gratitude.
the coworkers here are the biggest problem. cliques are made no matter what shift and you get the short end if the stick if you aren't part of them. most staff here are distrusting and there's endless drama and gossip even if you stay out of it, you will always hear judgements.

I want to use this reply to show everyone why it's against Google rules for ex employees to leave reviews. One suggestion is that if you plan to write a ficticious review to damage your employer, you should try to make the contents at least believable (or possible). Secondly, you should make sure that the statements aren't provable as fraud (which these are), and 3rd, you should probably know that Google supplies IP addresses when requested.its very easy to match IP addresses to the ip addresses used to login to the payroll software.I would seriously recommend removing this fictitious review before our attorney gets around to filing suit.Lets start with her first sentence about our hiding reviews. Businesses CANNOT hide reviews. WE don't even have a direct method of removing fraudulent ones like this. The VIllage has the very best team in the region caring for our residents. This isn't even up for debate. It's a known fact.Obviously there hasn't been a resident who had "a broken hip for a week" here. We haven't had a hip fracture in over 2 years.Se goes on to contadict herself by saying that yelling at a resident will get a person fired but neglect isn't, yet the "administrator is telling people to do their jobs". Seems maybe the Administrator WAS aware of happenings and working the problem. This person has not tested for her Med Aide. She completed all the classes to do so, but never took the test. I'm wondering how she'd know that the Nurse helps. 100% of our Med Aide tests are done with a Nurse proctor and under video surveillance. Her next 2 paragraphs show that she's angry because her attendance was causing her issues. Upon hire she worked 3 shifts, took 2 weeks off for personal reasons, worked 2 more shifts and claimed an injury that nobody could confirm. When she saw that wasn't going to fly she worked another 4 shifts and claimed another injury, which a doctor couldn't confirm, but put her on 12 weeks of light duty and she quit the day she was to return to work.As the single person who called out and refused to work the most it's humorous that Emilie would complain about other staff not wanting to pick up her workload.A person who works 8 full shifts over a 5 month period should not complain about not being part of the in group when those staff who aren't being your friend had to work extra hard to cover for you.Emilies only complaint to the Administrator is that she felt we should build "barn doors" at our Memory Care nurses station. We decided not to take her direction for a myriad of reasons, but she spent hours complaining about it.I know the other facilities read these reviews. If Emilie applies, take the time to do background and reference checks. It just might save you the hassle.
