Quality Inn near Monument Health Rapid City Hospital

We had to come to Rapid City due to a medical emergency so I picked based on how close it was to the hospital. Price was great, staff was nice and breakfast was ok. There's definitely some wear and tear that needs work. My room had a place where the flooring was coming up, cracked up tile in the bathroom but nothing major. Was clean but could have been cleaner. Over time in the room I came upon a few missed spots but nothing so bad that it bothered me. I have paid way more for some really bad rooms other places. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Have stayed here twice in past three weeks because of proximity to hospital reason being the first time had surgery and second time to have stint removed decided to get room because I live 2 and a half hrs away and didn't want to have to leave before sun comes up to go to hospital anyway staff was really great both my parents are seniors and we're with me the first time and both are on breathing machines only issue was that they had no 1st floor rooms but front desk clerk was good enough to help me take all our bags and machines to the room because elevator was out and also helped bring them back down for my parents while I was in surgery room was really nice big and spacious and very clean that was on Jan 30th had to go back on Feb 15th to have the stint removed that was put in during surgery the 31st and ironically was put in same exact room so I knew what I was getting which was good elevator was fixed this time room was nice and clean and staff was very nice only criticism I may have and it's minor my dad called them bout a hr or so before we got there to make sure they had first floor and was told yes now we did reservation online days before heading that way and requested first floor as well but I kno that is kinda nit picky and minor but kinda feel like if u reserve a first floor room one should be held atleast until u kno if guest is coming or not but like I said that is minor we ultimately had a great stay and will use this hotel agian as we sometimes have to travel to monument hospital for my self and my parents often and we kno we will get a warm bed in a clean room whenever we stay there
