    I am visiting from across the country and ran into bad weather on the way so my funds were running low and I had a gallon size ziplock bag full of change and went in to cash it in for gas. I am not a member and I have an amazing bank where I live so I am not used to being treated so rudely at a bank. I had to ask how to use the machine and was charged ten percent and although the teller that I had was a nice, sweet girl, the one who was giving orders was horribly rude and even said she didn't know why I would need a receipt and didn't want to give me one. I spent nights in my car on the trip in freezing weather because of a couple of pile ups on two different highways and am on a fixed income, so yes I was most definitely in need of turning silver change into gas money and she was so rude and ugly to me. Why would you treat someone like that, especially a visitor who came in friendly and polite??? I am in poor health and as I said on a fixed income and she acted as though I had gone in begging for spare change!!!! Even the fact that I was charged a fee when I had to use the change machine myself was just unbelievable. It was only eight dollars, but I only had eighty in change. I can't believe how incredibly greedy and rude the banking system is and how nasty that lady was. I will definitely never, ever recommend that bank to anyone, nor will I ever go back!!! I feel sorry for the sweet teller that has to work with such a rude, miserable person!!! Thanks for treating a visitor in a bad situation in such a disgraceful manner!!! Bless her little,black heart!!!! The single star is for the kind girl that helped me when the rude, obnoxious woman turned her back on me and shame on y'all for taking from those who have so little in a rough and stressful situation! I should have read the reviews before I even chose to go there, it is the worst treatment that I have ever received at any bank across the country,in all of my travels!!!!! They also needed my identification to even give me the money that I put into the change machine, this place is just awful!!!!!!

    The same day debit card was nice. Hannah didn't warn me about checks you are trying to deposit into your bank account taking 9 BUSINESS DAYS!!!! If you have an account less than 30 days old. I really needed that money, and now everything has to be put on hold so I can wait 9 business days for a check to deposit. They did pay for the $5 fee to open the account, which was nice, but it's sitting in the "available" section of the app, and I am unable to move it. The bank itself is fine, but the poor communication while I was setting it up led to this debacle I am in. 9 business days to deposit a check....unbelievable. Edit: they post a reply saying they might be able to shorten the time frame. As no shock to me, they post a phone number that doesn't even go to their branch I'm talking about. Thanks guys......what a joke. The number they sent me won't help either. It looks like I'm SOL. What a horrendous start to something I would hope be my permanent banking home. Here is hoping BHFCU doesn't screw me in the future.
