Dollar General

I went in today 2/14/24 around 11:40am to pick up a couple of little last minute valentines. Waited around at the register for a few minutes before noticing a dog toy that said squeeze for service. I squeezed the toy and a man's voice from somewhere in the isles snapped "one minute". A bit later a male worker came up, did not greet me or smile or anything, and just started ringing up my items. When I asked him not to bag a flower I bought, he huffed and rolled his eyes and just dropped it onto the counter. Then snapped my total at me. When I was leaving, I asked him to just throw away my receipt as I didn't need it and he said something under his breath that I couldn't make out. I understand that everyone has bad days, but I've never had such rude service. If he doesn't like his job there are plenty of people looking for jobs who will happily take his place.

Don't expect to get any help if you ask the employees. I asked two associates if they knew a price on a item they said they didn't know what it was without scanning the item they where 5 feet from the register and couldn't take the time to check, there where no other customers in the store at the moment.

It's a great store they just have a hard time keeping the shelves stocked because everyone shops there so we don't have to go to Hellmart and they don't have a lot of room for cold/ frozen foods. I think that they need to put in a few more coolers but other than that it's fine. I am in there pretty much every day and all the employees are absolutely wonderful! Carrie and Rachel especially

I just wanted to say that Jennifer I think she might be management at this store. It is a pleasure to go whenever she's there she's helpful never in a bad mood makes my shopping experience here a pleasure if anyone reading this knows her give her a good review she deserves it.
