In 2017, we chose Companion Funeral & Cremation in Athens for my brother's memorial service. As we left the service that day, my dad said he wanted a service just like my brothers, a celebration of life. Three weeks ago, my dad passed away. We chose Companion for my dad's celebration of life.
Everyone at Companion Funeral & Cremation have always gone above and beyond our expectations. They care about their clients. We will continue to choose Companion, for our families memorial services, because it would be difficult to find memorial services, provided with a spirit of excellence and a caring attitude as they have.

My mother was cremated at Companion Funeral and Cremation thru the Athens office. I couldn't have asked for a more professional, friendly and caring experience from each person I came in contact with. From the people who came to our home to pick up my mom after she passed, the gentlemen I dealt with in the funeral home and the lady who has sent me messages offering help with dealing with our grief. I have to also add that their prices were where I didn't have to worry about paying for it. They are so reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone who is about to go through with the passing of a loved one. They made it easier for us. Thank you Companion for everything.

My mother suddenly passed away and we were given different options for funeral homes.. my family nor myself live in the area my mom did so we had no idea where to start. Companion Funeral Home was by far the most economical and they were great to work with. They were great about communicating with me considering I am 2hrs away from the area. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend them!
