If I could give it a zero I would. They are the absolute worse. They leave packages on top of my mailbox hanging out of my mailbox. Damages my packages. I've had packages stolen because they will not bring him to the house. Then today they said they couldn't deliver my package because of a locked gate. I don't even have a gate. Nor do I have loose animals. Nor any blockages. They mail person is so lazy. They all are. I absolutely hate this post office.

I absolutely agree 100% with Entity Vortex Paranormal I too have lived in many different locations and the Athens, TN post office is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with. I have dealt with Mr. Grumpus and had the exact same experience as Entity Vortex. I have also dealt with the manager who is worse than Mr. Grumpus. I have had packages lost and found mail on the ground at my mailbox. Right now Im so angry with that PO that I can hardly write this. Customer Service does not exist at this PO.

There .must have been a sub driver,, stated no access to deliver a small package. Our driveway is not locked or blocked! was here all day as is the case most times. No.one parks to block driveway. Only vehicle in driveway today was me letting my truck warm up five minutes to go to town, was on the porch, was expecting this package. , whenever the regular has a package, they deliver and our inside dog let's us know if anyone enters our

Firstly, this review is NOT about my rural carrier or the older gentleman whos a clerk at the Post Office. Both she and he are absolutely AWESOME. This review is about slow, past due deliveries from Chattanooga sort center, but especially about the two ladies who are clerks at the local Athens Post Office. These two ladies at the Athens Post Office are absolutely worthless and lazy employees in whats supposed to be a service oriented, publicly funded institution. On a recent day, I had FIVE late packages from Chattanooga that were setting in the back of Athens PO, and the clerk absolutely refused to assist, or get anyone else to assist in looking for them. Medications that were needed before the following week, that were late because of the postal service, not the sender, and she totally turned me away without the slightest hesitation. These two ladies know that you have no other options, so they couldnt care less about customer service. I cringe every time I walk in there and either one of them is my only option to speak with. WHAT.A.JOKE.

I have lived many places throughout my life, and have ordered many things online, to be shipped to my house. Since moving to Athens, I have had so many problems frIom the older gentleman behind the counter. I called USPS about a package I was supposed to receive 2 days prior. I was told that if the package had not been sent out, that I could pick it up there, as long as I have the tracking number. I went today to see if I could get the package, since it was not out for delivery (even tried showing him emails, and tracking). I was greeted with a sigh. Before I could even get everything out, he rudely interrupted me, and said ALL THE MAIL HAS BEEN SENT OUT. Telling me that I have more than 1 carrier. In 7 years I have never had another carrier (2 deliveries in 1 day). This isn't the first issue with packages not arriving on time. I do understand that weather plays a roll, but why would USPS tell me one thing, and he didn't want to listen, or even attempt to look, or see what information I had, check tracking, or be helpful in any type of way. I understand that his job may be stressful, but the Athens Postal Service needs friendlier, more helpful employees. This man did not want to help me in any way whatsoever.
