        It was a peice of chewing gum in the middle of the coleslaw. I never had no issues at all with Captain D'S. Told the manager on the phone and she said I can give you a refund for the coleslaw and they can't have gum in their mouth while working.I don't want no refund and I want be coming back. Someone needs to know this. I try to put a pic but it wouldn't let me. It was gross and I threw the rest of the food away! It was drive thru. At 234pm. March 24, 2024. I couldn't come back cause I was on my way to work. I got pictures and my receipt.

      At our Athens, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.
