        Travelers beware, the employees of the local businesses don't care enough for you to stop and spend your money in Brownsville. I tried four different restaurants before I finally got mediocre food with blatant resentment for service. I don't usually give bad reviews but my experience pulling off the interstate to rent a room and eat and rest in Brownsville during my travels was the worst mistake that I have ever made. It is sad that a community is hurt due to mediocre employees and poorly ran businesses. Travelers move on to the next town when in need of rest. They may want your business and you may have a peaceful rest before you travel on. You will not have a happy experience in this town. I was treated better on this trip in the ghetto in Little Rock than I was in a sister city of my home state. Very disappointing!! If this continues it will close the other businesses dependant on the traffic from travelers, I checked the reviews and bad service seems to be the status quo for this town.
