If you value cleanliness, your safety and your belongings do not rent here. When my daughter looked at these apartments we were told they are very safe with cameras located over the entire parking lot and in the buildings. They said they have never had any safety issues. On more than one occasion my daughter encountered a homeless person sleeping in the dumpster area where she was expected to carry her trash to. The dumpster had also been set on fire. She was approached by homeless individuals asking for money regularly, and homeless were found sitting on the steps to the entrance of the apartment complex. If was found that recently a homeless gentleman had gained access into the complex and was walking the hallways. Other tenants cars were broken into and items stolen and the car left trashed. My daughter's car was stolen from the parking lot which had a camera pointed directly on the lot. When we asked for the footage I was told they would have to figure out who had access. After waiting almost a week and several text and calls requesting the footage to provide the police I was told they have discovered the cameras had not been recording. The apartment complex had a roach infestation issue and smells of marijuana throughout. The condos are owned by individuals and managed by Palmetto8 HOA. The only positive I can share is the individual who managed my daughter's apartment and one other apartment is fantastic. She is quick to reply, helpful in getting issues resolved, and very friendly. Unfortunately she has no control over the homeless issue, non working cameras, and issues of the complex as a whole.
