We ordered dryers for the salon from our supplier who bought them from Collins in 2021. Immediately, we started having problems. The dryers were digital, they would shut off when they werent supposed to, they were very loud and made all kinds of racket, and then one by one they quit working. Collins replaced several of the dryers at this point. We continued to have problems. They suggested that this was all our fault and we should have our salon rewired. True Story. Our salon is in great shape and the building is not quite 30 years old. I countered with why would you build a new dryer that is too much for wiring that is 30 years old? Finally, they relented that. no it wasnt our wiring. And they sent us a couple of new motors. My husband installed the motors, and we had the same problems. The last dryer we were still using, when it was turned on, it sounded like a lawnmower. I literally unplugged it from the wall. It was so scary. I thought it was going to explode. I contacted my sales rep who contacted Collins and said they were unable to do anything except provide us with some more faulty motors. I will never buy from this company again and Im very saddened that this is the customer service they provide. This has been a terrible experience. And these dryers are going in the dumpster. In other news, we have started purchasing from Minerva and they are amazing!
