Eye Centers of Tennessee-Cookeville

Everyone here is so kind and genuine. I received great care by all the staff. They were all knowledgeable and specific to my eye care needs. I highly recommend this Eye Center to anyone for all ypur vision needs.

Got to say that they are my favorite so far. I not only wear glasses, but have a prosthetic eye. So if my glasses lens are not 100%, I will notice. They have without question corrected and lens issues. Unlike other places that have argued with me. The staff and etc are extremely polite and listen. I'll glad reccomend anyone to them.

When called to make first time appointment Rosa was very sweet and kind everyone was very nice the building was clean they knew what they doing never had a eye place ask so many important questions Dr Johnson was very nice and very knowledgeable wanting to help with our eye issues

I happened here accidentally; I had an eye issue the past week and checked my insurance website (UMR) for providers, which first suggested I contact Tennessee Retina. So, I emailed and requested an appointment before 7 AM. Only to be called back at 10:45 AM saying they only do retina-related work. They recommended an ophthalmologist in the same building, but I needed to ensure that they accepted UMR insurance, but they were not listed so I moved on to someone on the UMR list. I then returned and found Alissa Hudson, who, when speaking to the office, could only see me in mid-May 2024, almost five months from now, even if it was more of an emergency. Then back to the UMR website. Eye Center of Tennessee was next. I called them, and they told me to come in right away. I got there, and after signing in, someone took me into the first exam room before I could sit down, got my history, and checked my eyes. They were delightful and friendly to work with. Then, after they dilated my eyes, I was moved to the doctor's examination room, where I met with the doctor's nurse, who confirmed some of my information. Then, the doctor came in; he understood my concerns and immediately found the issues. He prescribed some medication and explained the issue at hand. As the doctor requested, I made an appointment to return in two weeks. Everyone at this office was friendly and happy; everyone treated me as a patient in pain, not like a cow in the line to be slotted. Five stars are not enough for this office and group of people.

First visit: The staff upfront greeted us immediately before we even approached their desk. Very friendly and welcoming! The assistants in the back were so nice, professional and thorough! Dr. Johnson was amazing! He matched our personality and was very professional and thorough! I rarely ever leave reviews however the welcoming environment of this facility along with bedside manner, I couldn't go without leaving them one!
