Take Flight Dog Training

Take Flight have been an amazing find for me and my dogs. Never used a training or boarding facility but they treat my dogs like they are their own. Jess and Chloe always communicate with me and I love getting picture and video updates. Im grateful for finding them and now they are part of our family!!!

Jess , Tommy and Chloe have done a wonderful job with my girls. My girls consider Take Flight as home. It gives me piece of m8nd knowing they are so well taken care of.

My Husband and I got our English Shepherd puppy Maple a little more than a year ago. Unfortunately Maple began struggling with nervousness and reactivity at a very young age which made it very difficult to socialize her well. By the time she was 6 months old I was in tears daily, feeling like in spite of all my efforts I had completely failed her. I finally decided I needed help. I spent a ton of time looking up every trainer in the area but something about Take Flight just seemed right. They responded quickly and we began private lessons with Chloe. At our very first lesson one of the first things I noticed about Chloe was that she was completely calm and confident around Maple who was being very loud and reactive. Chloe was so patient and understanding and all of my fear and insecurity of being judged for my dogs unruly behavior disappeared. Over the weeks of lessons we saw more and more improvement and I started to regain some of the confidence I had lost. One of the things I like most is how personalized everything is to us and our specific dog and situation. I also love that they take a multifaceted approach so we now have an array of tools in our toolbox to help us going forward. After laying some good foundation in our private lessons my husband and I decided to put Maple through the 3-5 week program to give her a jumpstart of confidence and give us a fresh start together with her. I have to note that anyone who knows me knows Im a self proclaimed crazy person when it comes to my pets so trusting Maple to someone else was hard, but I did not doubt for one second that she was getting the absolute best care, and somehow they managed to exceed my expectations! We just finished the program and Maple is almost a different dog in all the best ways! Her confidence has increased so much, she seems so much more relaxed and happier and her obedience has made huge strides! She absolutely Loves Chloe too which really says a lot because Maple isnt an everybody kind of dog. I am so excited to continue our training with Take Flight, they take so much pride in what they do and it shows! I can not recommend them enough!

Jessica has groomed my labrador mix and shepherd mix multiple times and never disappoints! She is able to deshed and save my sanity plus always trims their nails. Jessica and her team treats every dog like their own and are some of the most professional people I've dealt with. Take Flight is my go to for anything involving my pups.

If youre looking for a place to board and/or train your dogs, look no further. Jess and her team are amazing with animals. She has been training our dog to be a service animal for my son since last year. The best things I can say about Jess is that she is dedicated, loves animals, she is patient, understanding, and she puts her all into making sure that you and your animal can continue to thrive on your own. On a personal note, Take Flight Dog Training is a wonderful place to work with if you have a need for any neurodivergent accommodations while you are training with your pet. My son is very comfortable with her methods and she respects his boundaries. Its a great fit. There is something to be said for anyone who makes their clients feel welcome. I never have to worry if a question I have will sound silly, because Jess makes you feel like you and your animal are part of the Take Flight family. Thank you Jess, for all you do.
