I dont remember who I was on the phone with but she left me crying and still not understand overdraft fees. It was Dyerburg TN Simmons on Main. My screenshots of proof that I had my money EVERY day since Monday that I still have and am willing to send to corporate, didnt matter because I accepted to go over my account. I can overdraft. Thats the only reason she gave me as to why I was over-drafted ONCE since then. It is Thursday now, so I was also confused as to why I was only over-drafted once then. And yes, I still have screenshots of me being fine since then too. Im freaking out because I dont have the money, thats why I DOORDASHed to cashapp and have the money. And before I left the parking lot on MONDAY I screen shotted, like I always have for years, my transactions (ask Amanda). But this is all my fault because I signed up for the over draft. Called my bank back, got ahold of Amanda and told her my situation and she doesnt even know why I was overdrafted because I cashapped myself the money the day of and for some reason it showed it was accepted the next day but showed me I had $2 in my account after and every day SINCE until today. Mistakes happen, anything could happen and she fixed it ONLY because she could see I gave myself the money MINUTES after the purchase. Thanks to say I will no longer bank with Simmons bank once I get my computer paid off, and Ive already saved up over half to just get rid of the payment. Im honestly hurt and fed up and cannot believe I just got off the phone with someone who treated me, someone who is crying because I dont know what to do, and still blamed me for being on the overdraft list and I purchased at Walmart after business hours (she said after 5pm, even after any purchase, it automatically overdrafts me which I knew is not right if the purchase itself is after hours). One thing I dont understand: Ive always known it to go over and have a few times, but Ive always made sure before I left any establishment I gave $1 or more in my account so i dont let it sit and then overdraft charge me. Right after I make a purchase anywhere, I check and send from other various things (Venmo, cashapp, another account) Ive known for years (7 years to be exact) that I can overdraft but Ive ALWAYS done right. Right enough that this has never happened to me until now, and since my bank didnt answer first, I called the other Simmons in town and was left knowing Ill never bank here again after this. I know how overdraft fees work, Ive been loyal for 7 years and have never had issues. How is it my fault when I just want to know why everything has been fine since Monday until now, but all I get is I purchased after 5pm and decided myself I can overdraft so thats why I was charged, even if I have proof since then Ive had money in my account. She definitely did not help make sense and made me feel more stupid, but thank you Amanda at Parr for not correcting, but checking and making sure why it needed to be corrected and explaining it to me
