I volunteered there for only a week, and I was so disappointed with their approach to everything. The teacher was always yelling, the kids barely knew their alphabet, and the majority of the time they were doing everything besides learning. I feel like it should just be called a daycare rather than school. No, actually, I've seen daycares do more teaching than this place. The building is run down, and the halls and classrooms aren't clean. The only positive note is that they have the teachers and helpers clean the childrens desks off regularly, and there is a nice playground outside. Although, they take the kids outside even when it's too cold for them to be out there. Someone professional needs to get in there and help this place.
