This park had very few fhu sites. Annuals were on the lake spots. Most sites are unlevel gravel & close together. The bathrooms/showers were clean & had decent pressure. The playground was ok and there were lots of dumpsters around. The road in was long and riddled w potholes. The pool was being renovated & the workout room was locked. They had pool, ping pong, air hockey along with typical rv park activities at the clubhouse. Everyone was very friendly & our stuff was safe sitting out all week. Holdenwald was 25min away, but had everything you need for supplies. We went to a food truck there called Tracies Kitchen which had excellent & affordable bbq. While staying at this park, we kayaked, hiked waterfalls, checked out Yoders Market and enjoyed seeing turkeys. Because of its remoteness, we used a lot of gas to see mediocre sights. We will not return even as Thousand Trail Members unless we are driving right by & only need a night or two.

My husband and I are annuals. I love this park and my camping neighbors. The roads are in terrible shape and have been for years. The girls in business office are always very helpful. I have yet to even meet the manager who never takes the time to check on what's going on in the park. We don't have manager meetings anymore so actually we have no voice standing up for the members. Advertised all these amenities and no pool last year and it looks like we won't have one this year. Corporate doesn't seem to care about its members. . You are losing good people from lack of care. We need a manager that will work on getting this park back in shape. Thank you for letting me vent although I know it won't do any good.

After reading a lot of negative reviews of this campground I was a bit worried about coming here. Seriously come and make your own opinion. This is a great park. I feel the people that have complained are the people that should be staying at the Marriott . Seriously this is everything a campground should be and more. I do see why people do comment its so hard to get into this park during busy season. More then half the spots are full time rigs. But really someone needs to help pay the bills year round so

Good, not great. Roads within the park could be better maintained. Some sites power pole location is further than standard cable length. More prominent street names and site numbers would be beneficial.
