        Paulie our server was some of the best service I have had in Knoxville in ages! Really enjoyed our birthday lunch. Great food and service, ask to sit in Paulies section!

        The service was the only good part of this birthday experience. We were sat in an almost empty restaurant amongst the only other patrons (with a table of coughing children next to us). The food was not great - the marinara sauce has carrots in it and the only flavor is sweet. The calamari was served on top of the sauces that accompany it, making the bottom half soggy and drenched in oil and aioli. The shrimp scampi was a disappointment with a creamy sauce with no real flavor and diced tomatoes. And the birthday patron got vanilla bean ice cream that was served as gelato.

        Decided to have Easter lunch here and wow, what a mess it was. Over 40 minutes waiting for our appetizer and then another 30 for our lunch, which included the most bland pasta my wife has ever had. Every table was waiting forever, but the manager was going around to them all and speaking with the diners and telling them their meals were on the house for the inconvenience. We were right in between two tables they did this for and we got nothing, not even a hello from the manager. Not sure why they were taken care of and we got nothing for our terrible experience here. POST RESPONSE: can someone tell me why all the responses to peoples negative experiences here are not being addressed in any way other than we are sorry and are doing nothing about it? Ridiculous
