My son was receiving unprovoked threats by text by phone. He did not know the person or persons and had no affiliations with them. The threats mentioned they were going to come to my sons school and commit physical harm, and also the text were graphic in nature which would constitute as an Assault. We had trouble meeting with the detective because he wasnt there for our scheduled meeting. Luckily, we were assigned a new detective. Also, after discovering the 2 individuals were a minor and an adult, we did not hear anything about their dates to appear in court. Basically, no one contacted us about their arraignment court dates. Then when we finally called about finding out our actual court dates, the person they transferred us to was a woman that later assisted the Assistant DA, on our court date, in bullying both me and my son, as they were trying to achieve the sentencing they wanted without asking us a single question pertaining to the evidence of the matter. The court systems do not take these situations seriously including the DA's office...and seem to be enabling harm. Approach with caution or not at all.

I don't agree with the grandparents not having any rights. That is wrong. We love the kids too. But we can't see them unless the mother or father wants them to. We would like to see and love the kids too. Even if the mother and father don't get along. And this court don't make some mothers follow court orders. You can do a Petition more money that is all it is a court order and still have to pay to get it followed. That makes since. but courts are courts. Money money money talks.

They try to be helpful, to custodial parents anyway, granted sometimes they cause trouble for you by trying to help you but guess they are just doing their jobs. They are pretty good at directing you where you need to go if you aren't sure.
