Me and my sister were up there to simply pick up something from the office. I had called last week to give them a heads up that I would be doing so, as I was told to do. On the original call it took multiple attempt's at different hours, with no answer. Only to receive a call back later that night after business hours. In which it was advised to come the next week on a day we (the office and myself) would both be available; and to give the office a call before hand so they know to be there at that time. Now today, the day I explained on the phone I would most likely come. Me and my sister attempted multiple times to call a head of time on two different numbers. The one advertised on Google for the office, and the number that the lawyer called on before. With no answer. Upon arrival at the office we were immediately met with a subtle hostility by the receptionist. In behavior and lack of greeting. Given odd looks and attitude when we explained why we was there when promptly asked. When going to sign some of the papers, the women snapped, read what your singing. Then acted mad when I asked questions about the paper work. She seemed frustrated when me and my sister tried to clarify our questions. After a minute of this I decide to just forget the question and sign the papers needed to pick up what we came for. The receptionist then took the paper from me without saying anything besides still trying to explain to us what we asked. Which I would appreciate if she didnt have such a obvious rude and unprofessional behavior while doing so. Giving us dirty looks, snapping, and acting like we were dumb for asking questions. Additionally, I asked for a better number to call since the two I used were not getting through. (Due to my other sister needing to pick up some things also later in the day) Without looking at me or saying anything to me she handed me a card. I had tried to break the ice and tense atmosphere more than once, by complimenting the friendly cat. Which was ignored. While leaving my sister tried to politely say bye, in which she ignored her multiples times. Overall, not a good experience for something that should have been simple and easy. Unprofessional and rude behavior. With a hostile environment and snide remarks. However, top marks on their pet cat. She/he was a short hair gray cat with a very friendly and lovely personality.Update: I drove my other sister to pick up her stuff today (two days later). I would like to add that the actual lawyer of the office was there. She, my sister, advised that he was very friendly and polite to her. No issues when speaking with him. And the receptionist stayed professional while he was there.
