Prescriptions not ready for pickup even when they have been called in with plenty of time. I've made two trips for a medication and will have to go a 3rd time to pick it up. Unable to get full fill of medication because they don't stock enough. Pharmacist less than friendly.

I like the convenience... they are open late. I don't get off work until after the other pharmacies close. Always friendly service.

The pharmacy workers are rude. They act like they are miserable and hate their jobs.

When our old Sullivans pharmacy closed, we were told all of our records and scripts have been sent to Walgreens on Smithville highway. That turned out to be a lie, nothing was transferred. Spent days calling up our doctors to call in new scripts. One of those scripts got sent to this Walgreens on Chancery by mistake and I just figured Id go with it and get it filled here. My goodness, I did not realize the pharmacist working here was a world renowned physician, and an expert on all medications and diseases. How lucky am I?! The pharmacist, who spoke in broken English with some foreign accent, told me he didnt believe my wife had the correct dosage on one of her medications and decided to call her physicians office to challenge it! Her physicians office, promptly and politely informed him to stay in his lane, and that the prescription was very much in line with what she needed. This took about an extra day to resolve. Then came the fun part. This medication was not fully covered by my insurance. It never has been, but it was cheap, I didnt ever care before. Over at our old Sullivans pharmacy that closed, we were paying $29 bucks a month for this medication outside of the insurance. At Walgreens, this same medication was now $450, no joke. This launched more phone calls I had to make to my insurance company to see if I can somehow get authorization now to get some medicine my wife has been taking for years, because I cant afford to get it at this new pharmacy any more. After I got tired of the abuse I was getting at Walgreens, I transferred all of our medications to an independent pharmacy literally a 1/10 a mile down the road. My new cost for this same medication, is now $35 dollars, again outside of the insurance. That should give you an idea of the kind of rear end abuse you will get at Walgreens. Literally 10x the retail cost, and for that extra money, you get some foreign sounding pharmacist who wants to get into your space and tell you what medications you should be allowed to get. Um,, yeahlet me think about that, ummm no thanks! Over at the other Walgreens, 2 miles down the road, the same story played out, with just different medications and a different jerk behind the counter. The pharmacists at both of the Walgreens in town are told, by their corporate overlords, that they are free to challenge anyone that walks in the door on any medication, and they love to do that. Its a sick sport for them! Roadblock after roadblock, delay after delay, all in the name of making some faceless, soulless Walgreens employee amused at your misery over how much power they wield over you. Go to Walgreens website and see if you can find the name of a pharmacist at any location. All they do is publish their names by first name and last initial. So you have to ask then, why do they proudly identify their head pharmacist only by his last initial on their website? Do you go to any health care professional that wont tell you their last name? Just speaking from a good faith perspective, does that seem like a Red Flag?). Is it because they themselves have something to hide? I mean seriously, if a pharmacist wants to crawl up your butt on your medications, then he/she is inserting themselves into your health care, and when was the last time you had your health care decisions made by someone who wont even identify themselves by their last name? Nope, not me, thats a big old red flag. Ill pass on that experience. Read the neg reviews, I go into more detail on the review I left for the Walgreens down the street. Fire these corporate jokers and go to a real independent, family owned, pharmacy in this town. This is still America, you are free to go to any pharmacy you want, you do not have to come here! There's still some independent pharmacies here that you should support, that will provide you and your family with so much more help and care then you will find at any Walgreens that is staffed by these rude, inconsiderate, and downright disrespectful people. For me, never again!
