Hilton Garden Inn Memphis Downtown Beale Street

Taylor and Thomas were amazing throughout my stay! They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and affordable. Checking in was a little confusing because you need a key to get in the front door (or wait to be buzzed in) and you have to complete check in to get into their secure, gated parking lot. I never once saw a valet. But you still have to pay for valet parking even though youre the valet. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it!

Dawn was exceptional! She recommended places to visit and eat that we loved. She took great care of us during our stay. The room was nice. I wanted to give it a higher score however our sheets had 2 blood stains. Our bed was made but or linen was not changed. All of the staff we encountered were great.

Horrible and Dirty! My room had an awful smell and the bedding is balded (Dollar Tree Quality). Run and do not waste your money!

We paid extra for a room stocked with "drinks and snacks," yet there were none in the room when we arrived. I called and asked about it, and the staff told me (unapologetically) that the hotel was out of bottled water and snacks but that they would provide them the next day. We never received any during our entire stay, yet the hotel refused to refund the upcharge. We were also given only one single coffee pod (between two adults) for our entire stay, meaning that the in-room coffee they promise on the website was nonexistent. Very disappointed. I would also add that the "breakfast included" option was not worth the upcharge either--several of the hot-bar bins were empty, and on our second day, the eggs had an odd, unpleasant smell. You'll get much better food for less money if you walk to any of the wonderful restaurants and coffee shops within a few blocks of the hotel. I don't like negative reviews, but I felt like we weren't treated right during this stay.

Restaurant is awful. In 45 years Ive never been treated like that. Come in early when they open and two girls standing around hanging out instead of working. Which is fine, but food and crumbs from day before on tables and 45 min later when food isnt coming out and I ask I get attitude. Ill never go back lol. Hotel staff are great - the only reason I have any stars. Good luck if you eat at the restaurant - maybe you'll get lucky!
