This probably has to be one of the most unprofessional, non-caring, non working, bikini bottom, bottom of the barrier leasing staff, I have EVER encountered. I have lived at Manning Place since 2020 and ever since Ms. Ollie left, tenant needs have been null and voided.
Lakesha Crawford then took over her duties and baby talking to her was like talking to a door knob, she did not care about tenant concerns and would not address them and would get smart with you for bothering her.
Since i've been here my car has been broken into (broad daylight by tenant who lived in building), doors are constantly broke, requiring full strength to get them open, elevators dirty, carpet dirty, blood on handles, a shooting in the building and constant fighting.
It took maintenance over 3 month to replace my fire alarm battery. The guy in my building my the name of Zeke came into my unit multiple time to do my service request but none of them were completed. So why was he in my apartment correct? So I went to the new leasing person last name Robinson and when I say they hiring anyone, literally mean anyone. She is much like Lakesha Crawford, making it as if doing her job is a problem. She would just say oh well I put the request in, I don't know what you want me to do.
Y'all this lady is INSANE. Had something mailed to the wrong address, USPS stated they put it in the leasing office mailbox, went to her to inform her and this lady looked at me and said I don't know where the mailbox is so i'm not sure what you want me to do. Any normal educated person, in their right mind, would just find out where it is but I guess that was too much like right. Then to top it off, as stated i've been here since 2020, in May of 2023, I started seeing roaches and the way I was raised this is not ok. So after multiple complaints I finally got a bombing of my apartment in August of 2023. I would literally catch the roaches coming in between my door while closed. Which is why I wanted my seal replaced but Zeke said it wasn't needed. Anyway y'all she "forgot" to reach out and tell me about them coming to bomb my unit, so I had to reschedule. The people told me to just call the office and tell them what day is best and they will come back. When I went down there because they do not answer the phone, "Ms. Robinson" gone say it don't work like that, they will tell you when they free. So I informed her that it was what I was instructed to do and she was literally about to argue with me that, they did not tell me that. Anyway, they finally came and I was free of bugs for like 2 weeks. And no is/was not an infestation but 2-3 of them a few times a week is an infestation to me.
So about a week ago I was walking out my apartment and 2 roaches fell down... I lost it and immediately went to the office. The roaches are coming from the next unit, the tenants were extremely nasty and got put out due to a shooting in the unit. So, I go make my complaint and she still has the nastiest, nonchalant attitude towards me about this and say all we can do is have them come spray again. So I explain that if they don't treat the problem next door, i'm going to continue to have problems. This lady who probably never stepped foot in our building literally looks at me and says if its not people there its no bugs. Followed with, if it's that much of a problem you can pay to move to a different unit/property. I was livid because why should I have to move due to the negligence of the people who live here along with people like you who do not make sure concerns are taken care of, before they are out of control. Two days later someone is coming to clean and why bugs started running everywhere when they opened the door. I definitely plan on breaking my lease as soon as I find the best spot for me and I have reported them to everyone I can. The entire staff needs to be replaced starting with the property manager Mrs. Haley, she the head of the I don't care, i'm not working leasing club.
