Mr. WRN,Your layout of a building footprint for the renovations to your house was directed by you and your builder. We surveyed your property showing the building setbacks as per City zoning. It was your decision to deviate from those City setbacks and your builders to ask the City for a variance all 4 sides of your house. Which we stressed has never been done. There are City codes/regulations, building codes, that your architect and builder have to go by. Which maintains public safety for your house and the neighbors.Appreciate the google review.
