Warning everyone warning everyone please don't buy anything from Lowe's this company is a big fraud I own a plumbing company and don't buy water filters for your refrigerator when you buy one they cost 50 plus dollars every new refrigerator has a water filter timer built in if you pop the old one out for 30 second pop it back in and press reset this is a water filter buying scam the filter is made to last one year depending on how much water you drink from the refrigerator and don't buy any lawn mower because your buying a mvp mower Lowes is selling you a mvp mower with a john Deere sticker on it the Craftsman is not craftsman lawn mower it is a mvp mower and Lowes owns that company they are selling knock off mower and don't buy any appliances from Lowe's or especially AO smith water heater because they make it to fail in years I had to install some AO Smith water heater for customer and I pulled a few apart they are using marked down products from China remember back in the old days you parents bought a refrigerator or washer and dryer they are still working today and i have over 49 customers that have bought water heater that are over 25 to 46 years old and they put out hot water better than the new ones today and they have old refrigerators thst are over 65 years old still working ice cold I have 2 old ones in my garage people just buy new for the new look but Lowes is scamming there customers warming don't buy Lowes buy plumbing supplies shop it better products not fake.

I have given this Lowes quite a few chances, but today really just pushed it over for me. My husband and I went to return an item gifted to us by a grandparent that we will not really use. Without having the proof of purchase, we went in and let them know we just wanted to get store credit to get something else we will use. We scanned on the Lowes app, and it was sold by them to order for pickup in store or delivery. So we get to the return desk, and the lady is already looking like she doesnt want to be there. We explain our return, and off the bat says its not pulling up in their system, even though it pulls up in the app. She goes and gets a manager I guess to explain further, and when they both arrive back, were awkwardly standing there silent until she she bluntly says to me you wanna go ahead and explain whats going on? I held my tongue on how rude that was, but I went on to explain again, and the manager is also acting with an attitude of I dont have time for this and just says we cant take it back even if its showing in the app, and their return policy just changed last week too. I wasnt aware of that as we had returned items for store credit after misplacing receipts in the past. And so now hearing this for the first time, I asked if there was a copy of that I could look at, and she gestures to the wall near the entrance and says its probably up there. Just felt like a complete nuisance and was treated like we werent valued as customers. Really dont think people like this should be representing customer service. Another time recently I went to help my mom get some bags of mulch for her home, and we were having trouble reaching the kind we needed. There were two male workers nearby just talking to eachother in the garden section, and so we asked them if they could help us get to the mulch, and maybe help us bring it to the checkout since theyre heavy. The guy told us hes not in that department so he couldnt help us, and there werent carts nearby so he couldnt help us get it to checkout either. So as two women trying to get help getting something heavy down, felt pretty disgusted on how it was handled. Like there was no follow up to find someone to help us, or even help us find a cart. So I took initiative and climbed up and got it myself, and struggled carrying it to checkout, passing the two men working who still didnt seem to care at all. We let the cashier know about it, and she apologized on their behalf. But nothing was probably done about it. I am just so disappointed in who is chosen to represent customer service these days. I have tried giving Lowes chances, but after this I just really dont want to give them business anymore. If Lowes wants to be portrayed a certain way, they should check in on who theyre hiring.
