It is so special to see my professor, Ms. Tonya Maxwell, provide education to students at Affordable Barber Academy! I had the opportunity to become a student of hers while at Cisco College. Now two years into watching the students and community support her vision it is thriving and growing! She is a great teacher with Godly guidance and encouragement! You will be grateful to have a classroom full of students to learn and grow with when you say yes to your future as a Barber! This was my first time to actually be in the physical location and I was so happy to see everyone working towards their goals!

They are great! They fixed my husbands and sons hair after it was messed up somewhere else. My husband got his beard cleaned up and loved it! We will definitely go back!

Currently a student, instructor is excellent, great atmosphere!! Yall will not regret starting the class here..

All the barbers here are amazing and skilled at particular things like fades, etc. Mrs. Tonya or the owner of this place was horribly rude . I asked her to point me to one of her best students for customer service reasons I thought she would. I wanted to get a presentable cut but i did not want my edge messed up and I wanted an affordable cut because my barber is booked and it can get a little pricey . While I understand it is a college the customers should be priority and the request should be made. I waited for my friend to get his cut which I thank them for allowing me to do. And after I saw I good it was I requested him which I was told I can do. I was then told by Mrs.Tonya No since you did not want to get a cut from the first person you wont get an cut today. I proceeded to say God bless you and walked out and she said Dont Jesus me! And I respectfully left. The barbers are awesome but the leadership is terrible.
